Fulton County Commissioner,

District 1

Why I’m Running

I’m running for District 1 Commissioner to offer real solutions for Fulton County.

Fulton Elections

  • Fully fund the Fulton Board of Registrations & Elections to offer accessible, efficient, & transparent elections that are free of election conspiracies and false fraud allegations.

  • Work to prevent a state takeover of our elections which puts the certification of our Fulton votes at risk.

Public Safety

  • Fully Fund the District Attorney’s & public defenders offices, so they can correctly determine if someone is dangerous and needs to go prison, or they can go to a pre-indictment diversion program to keep them out of the prison system while still keeping the community safe

  • Support Fulton District Attorney Fani Willis in her commitment to not prosecute any abortion cases. Reproductive decisions should only be made between a family and their doctor.

  • Fulton County operates the permitting process for concealed carry permits and has the ability to deny or revoke a permit when deemed appropriate. The Permit-less carry law makes it illegal for Fulton to carry out this critical function to protect our residents

Fiscal Responsibility

  • Ensure accurate property tax assessments and make the tax appeal process more accessible, so the county collects taxes fairly.

  • Fulton spends $40M on care for under & uninsured residents at Grady Hospital. If these residents had access to healthcare programs, we could redirect those funds to other county priorities.

Fulton County Services

  • Offer case management services to our residents living in extended stay hotels to ensure they can develop the skills to obtain permanent housing.

  • Install a new water meter system that allows for early detection of water leaks to preserve water resources and prevent large, unexpected water bills.

  • Utilize my relationships with county & city leaders to ensure residents receive the full value of county services offered.

I believe in the Senator Paul Wellstone quote “We all do better when we all do better,” meaning that we have a responsibility to ensure resources are distributed equitably across the county so that every resident has the opportunity to thrive. I will represent and advocate for District 1, and consider the entire county when making decisions, because the policies we enact will affect the entire county.
